Nakheel is a master developer based in Dubai, responsible for some of the emirate's most recognisable waterfront and community developments. The company is known for large scale projects that reshape the coastline and for creating residential districts, retail destinations and leisure landmarks across the city.

Nakheel's best known project is Palm Jumeirah, the palm shaped island off the coast of Dubai. Its wider portfolio includes The World islands, Deira Islands, now known as Dubai Islands, and residential communities such as Jumeirah Village, Al Furjan, Discovery Gardens, The Gardens and Jumeirah Islands. The company has also developed retail destinations including Ibn Battuta Mall and Nakheel Mall.
